It has been a good Oscar year for British-born actresses. Keira Knightley was nominated for best supporting actress yesterday for The Imitation Game. Rosamund Pike was nominated for best actress for Gone Girl. And today’s Immigrant of the Day, Felicity Jones, a recent transplant to Brooklyn, has been nominated for best actress for The Theory of Everything. She plays Jane Wilde Hawking, the wife of Stephen Hawking in the biographical movie. The busy actress has five movies scheduled for release this year and next.
